Integrative Relief Through Interventional Pain Management
Interventional pain management is a specialized field within medicine that focuses on a range of treatments designed to alleviate pain without relying heavily on oral medications. It incorporates various techniques, such as nerve blocks, injections, minimally invasive surgeries, and advanced imaging techniques. Integrative approaches, like chiropractic care, can also play a crucial role in this field. Chiropractic treatment, which involves manual spinal manipulation and adjustments, can help align the body’s musculoskeletal structure to relieve pain and improve function without surgical interventions or drugs.
The benefits of interventional pain management are substantial, particularly when combined with chiropractic care. These interventional techniques provide immediate relief from chronic pain by targeting the specific areas causing discomfort. This precision reduces the dependence on oral medications and their associated side effects. Chiropractic care complements these interventions by enhancing spinal mobility and correcting misalignments, which can help alleviate pain and support the body’s natural healing processes.
This method is used because interventional pain management is generally less invasive than conventional surgery. Procedures such as epidural steroid injections, nerve ablations, or the implantation of pain-relief devices typically require only local anesthesia and minimal recovery time. This reduces the risk of complications and offers an alternative for patients who are not candidates for surgery. Chiropractic care adds to this benefit by providing a non-surgical option that can prevent the conditions leading to chronic pain from worsening.
Incorporating interventional pain management techniques with chiropractic care offers a comprehensive approach to managing chronic pain. This combination allows for tailored treatments that address specific pain conditions effectively, enhancing the quality of life and functionality for many patients who suffer from chronic pain.
Do your doctors only adjust the spine?
No, they do not. We are a multidisciplinary facility. We treat not only the spine, but every joint of the body. We also treat soft tissue issues that do not refer to the spine as well. Different parts of the body can be helped through spinal and joint manipulation. Our doctors use the latest techniques in their field to relieve the pain as quickly as possible. Our team provides top-tier care for our patients.
Other than the spine, we treat: shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, hip, knee, ankle & feet pain/injuries. We also treat personal injury/auto accidents, and workers' compensation cases.
Do you provide treatment during the initial visit?
Yes, we know that most of the time when a patient comes into our office they are in pain & in need of same day treatment. Our overall goal as a facility is to determine the problem generator, treat the area of complaint/source of pain, and see patients for follow up visits as needed.
